Pilesgrove Preparative Meeting was established in 1735. At the time of the Hicksite Separation of 1827, the meeting split into Hicksite and Orthodox branches. Pilesgrove Preparative Meeting (Orthodox) was transferred to Salem Monthly Meeting (Orthodox) in 1830. It was discontinued later that year, and its members were transferred to Salem Preparative Meeting (Orthodox).
